Our Vision
Friends of the Beatson makes the lives of cancer patients better. We do this by providing practical comfort and support for patients at The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre. We work with the patients themselves and with the Beatson staff, medical, nursing and administrative - to ensure that we deliver the support in the best possible way for patients.
We will continue to build on our achievements to date. This will include the operation and development of The Friends of the Beatson Centre, so that it maximises its potential at all times in meeting patient needs, and the continuation and extension of our wider commitment to patients throughout the hospital.
While we have achieved a lot, there is much more we can do to make cancer patients' lives better. We will work to ensure that, through our fundraising activities and the generosity of our many supporters, we have the resources required to do it.
