2012 Annual Sporting Dinner Thursday 19 April
Our seventeenth Annual Dinner is being held at the Glasgow Hilton on Thursday 19 April 2012. We have a superb line-up of speakers for the Dinner:-
Dame Kelly Holmes - who, following early promise as an athlete, joined the army and became a physical training instructor
before returning to athletics and making history at the 2004 Olympics in Athens by winning two middle distance Gold medals. As we all look forward to the London 2012 Olympics, Dame Kelly will be able to give us a personal insight into what the athletes will experience, including those who will win gold.
Geoff Miller - who spent 20 years on the professional cricket circuit representing Derbyshire, Essex and England and is now one of the top speakers on the after-dinner circuit.
Gary Marshall - a third generation Yorkshire comedian with a unique and highly entertaining style.
