This magnificent Centre is a haven for patients made possible by mutual respect and collaboration among patients, the Friends of the Beatson board and NHS colleagues. I am not aware of any similar facility anywhere else in Scotland and perhaps even in the UK. I am sure that as the Centre and its facilities become more widely known, it will be the envy of patients - and other cancer facilities - everywhere

We have a superb line-up of speakers for the Dinner;

Willie Young - the former football referee and well-known Glasgow lawyer, George McNeill - the former professional sprinter and holder of the professional world record for 110 metres, Sean Fitzpatrick - former All Blacks captain and generally regarded as one of the greatest international rugby players of all time. Our top table guests will include former Scottish and British Lions captain, Gavin Hastings.
